Hello, my name is Nicola; I am 24 years old. I started sandcastles in June 2010 after the completion of my level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Children’s care Learning and Development at West Suffolk College. Throughout my education I always shared a keen interest for and wished to pursue a career in childcare. Since working at sandcastles I have undertaken my BA Hons Degree, also in Children’s care Learning and Development. My experiences both academically and at sandcastles have provided me with deeper awareness, knowledge and a further passion for the Early Years.
Before Sandcastles playgroup I had experience at other childcare settings in Haverhill. Through college placements, I gained experience at St. Felix, Westfield, Little Wonders pre-school and additionally within a home environment with twin new-borns.
Undertaking my degree has helped me to choose a career which is close to my heart. Providing whole hearted care to support children to flourish and reach their fullest potential at Sandcastles playgroup.
